There were issues with the student’s test. Can a user delete their test and let them start over?
LEAs are not provided the Regenerate permission which allows the test to be “reset”. Due to this, they must contact DRC Customer Support to request a Regeneration. This is due to a couple of different reasons. First, whenever a regeneration is done, this will end up using a student license. Second, the TEA has strict guidelines when it comes to identifying the students. The student should not have extra exposure to a test whenever they have already tested partway through a test.
If you would like to continue with the Regeneration request, the following is required:
- LEA must provide DRC with the Username/Password and Student ID of the ticket
- LEA must provide DRC with a reason why the test needs to be regenerated
- If the request is due to a technical issue (mic issues) then we need to have proof of this issue
- To do this users can download the responses from the educator scoring page. If the user is unsure of this, please reference this video.
