Onsite Paper: LAS Links Form A (Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing)

Onsite Online: LAS Links Form B (Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing)

Remote Online: LAS Links Form B (Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing)

2-12th grade: students must achieve a 4 or 5 in ALL domains (speaking, listening, reading and writing).

If a student remains in remote learning for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year and therefore was unable to test with the TELPAS onsite, then that student may be tested onsite or remotely with LAS Links (after May 28, 2021).

You may begin creating test sessions and testing students on May 29, 2021.

On May 17, 2021, DRC re-activated all Reclassification accounts in the DRC INSIGHT Portal. This allows you to add users and register students.

No. Per the TEA, the priority must be to test as many students as possible utilizing the TELPAS onsite prior to May 28, 2021.

You may assess students in the grade level they were in during the 2020-2021 school year.

Please note: for online testing, students must be rostered in INSIGHT in the grade level for which you want to test them. So if you roster a student in 6th grade (his 21-22 grade) but you want test him as a 5th grader, be sure to roster him as a 5th grader in INSIGHT.

Yes, if a student, who has not been previously tested for Reclassification, returns to onsite school after May 28th, you may test that student with LAS Links Online Form B onsite or LAS Links Paper Form A onsite for Reclassification purposes.

No. LAS Links should only be utilized if a student was unable to complete all domains of TELPAS.

Per the TEA, Text-to-Speech is NOT to be utilized while testing for the purpose of RECLASSIFICATION.

Yes. For instance, if you administer any one of the assigned subtests and the student receives a 1, 2 or 3 proficiency level, you may determine he/she is not eligible for Reclassification and may stop testing.
