User Management FAQs
How does my LEA get access to the access to the INSIGHT Portal?
Each LEA’s Point of Contact (POC) was give access to DRCs INSIGHT portal in June 2019 allowing all LEAs access to the Professional Learning courses.
Once an LEA purchases LAS Links Online licenses, DRC “unlocks” the POC’s needed permissions for testing. The POC then, in turn, may add additional users to the portal as needed.
How do I add/upload a user?
If a user needs to upload a user, they can use the Insight Portal User Guide, page 25, or refer to the Digital Library for step-by-step instructions on how to upload a user.
How do I update my email?
If the user is able to get into their account, they will go into their account settings by clicking their name at the top right to change their email address.
If the user has moved districts then they should have a new email created for them for their new district. The former district should inactivate the user.
How does an LEA change the Point of Contact (POC)?
The Point of Contact can be changed by completing the POC Change Form found at www.LASLinks.com/Texas under the Customer Support Section.

I can’t see a tab in the portal/I’m missing a permission.
If a user is missing a permission, they must contact their Director to request it. If the user has the permission, but is missing the function of it, flush the permissions by removing them, saving, re-adding the exact same permissions, and saving. Then have the user log out and log back in.
How do I remove a user?
It is not possible for LEAs to remove users from the Portal, but the Director can inactivate users by clicking the Inactivate button in User Management.
Which permission set(s) do I use?
Along with the dedicated permissions sets which are provided whenever a user purchases online licenses (District and Professional Learning Permission) there are also dedicated permission sets that the POC may assign:
